From order to invoice

Who is TruckManager for?

TruckManager is transport and forwarding software for companies that want to manage transport jobs, plan work and invoice in one system. Use it with your own vehicles, external carriers or a combination of both.

Carriers with their own fleet

You need to know which vehicle is available, what it is carrying and which jobs come next.

  • Transport jobs with routes, dates, vehicles and drivers.
  • A vehicle timeline on the dispatch board and drag-and-drop job assignment.
  • Vehicle locations and actual route data with an active GPS connection.
  • Refuelling records, maintenance records and reports by vehicle.

Forwarders without their own vehicles

You arrange transport through subcontractors and need to link the customer's order to the order sent to the carrier.

  • Customers and carriers in a shared company directory.
  • Creating and sending orders to subcontractors.
  • Supplier invoices linked to a transport job or order.
  • Margin checks and posting loads to actively connected freight exchanges.
See the Forwarding plan

Combined transport and forwarding

You handle some loads yourself and assign others to external carriers. You need one overview, not two separate sets of records.

  • Jobs for your own vehicles and subcontracted transport.
  • Filters by customer, vehicle, carrier or cost centre.
  • Direct transport, part-load, warehouse and cross-docking modes.
  • Invoicing and financial reports based on recorded jobs.

Shared data for the whole team

Each role builds on a colleague's work. Available features depend on the plan and the user's permissions.

Dispatcher

Creates the job, prepares the itinerary and assigns a vehicle. The dispatch board shows vehicle utilisation and overlapping jobs, while the diary shows loading and unloading activities.

Driver

Works with assigned tasks and documents in the driver app. Dispatchers can then act on information from the transport operation.

Invoicing staff

Create invoices from jobs, find attachments, record payments and prepare reminders. Available exports provide data for accounting.

Management

Reviews revenue by customer, vehicle or cost centre. With costs entered, management can also monitor profit and analyse vehicle fuel consumption.

What to check before choosing

How you want to start

The Free plan covers transport job records, carrier orders and invoicing. The dispatch board, GPS, AI and freight exchanges have different availability depending on the plan. See pricing for the current scope and terms.

What you already use

List your GPS providers, fuel cards and accounting software. For integrations, we will check the supported data transfers, permissions and setup together.

Questions before getting started

Do we need our own vehicles?

No. You can arrange jobs through external carriers. The Forwarding plan supports this way of working, with licensing not tied to vehicle numbers.

Do we need GPS to manage jobs?

You do not need a GPS connection to record a transport job. An active connection is required to load actual vehicle GPS data and use features based on it.

Will TruckManager replace our accounting software?

This page describes operational records and transport invoicing. You need to check compatibility with your accounting software and the required exports before deployment; invoicing functionality alone does not mean a complete accounting system.

How can we check whether the system suits us?
